Just got back from a hike – not a run – I tried running but couldn’t. It was too tough to plow through the 16 inches of snow we received over the past day and a half. I was happy that I got out before the snowplow cleaned the roads so I could test the conditions. According to the North Pole Marathon website “The underfoot terrain can be energy sapping in places, though the snow will not be deep except in patches.” Today was the perfect day to do some training for the “patches.”
